Hydrogeologic Services
Stormwater infiltration is often accomplished through the use of infiltration basins, which, if not designed and maintained properly, will fail with time. Robinson, Noble & Saltbush provides the expertise necessary to avoid failure by assisting clients in identifying prospective property for infiltration facilities, estimating infiltration rates during the planning stages, completing field studies to identify design infiltration rates, analyzing groundwater mounding patterns and the fate infiltrated water, and defining proper observation well networks to monitor water levels and quality over time.
Aggregate Services
In the mining industry, stormwater issues are addressed through the Sand & Gravel General Permit and incorporated into the general work plan for the site. However, stormwater generation at some sites can be complicated by both the local geology and shallow groundwater, particularly on the west side of the Cascades. Robinson, Noble & Saltbush works with our clients to identify the source of these problems and assist in developing workable stormwater solutions.
