Saltbush History
|
|
Saltbush Environmental Services, Inc. was established in the early 1980’s as
an environmental consulting firm specializing in environmental assessments
related to property transfers. Saltbush, and a number of other enthusiastic
and like-minded environmental industry leaders, pioneered the Phase I Environmental
Site Assessment process. Early efforts with the National Water Well
Association (now the National Ground Water Association) and the American Society
for Testing and Materials (now ASTM International) developed and ratified this
nationally accepted and popular standard for evaluating environmental risks/hazards
during property transfers.
The company grew with the assimilation of Environmental Property Audits in 1990.
Additional environmental services were added over the years to provide full-service
environmental consulting. After over 20 years of serving the greater Pacific Northwest,
Robinson & Noble, Inc., a longtime vendor and friend, purchased Saltbush and
merged their services in 2003.
